Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Didcot Parkway and Tilehurst, and also between Reading and Langley, closing 2 out of 4 lines at various times.

Monday

Until approximately 05:00 on Monday morning, trains will use alternative platforms at Tilehurst, Goring & Streatley and Cholsey, and will not call at Pangbourne.

Buses will be provided to run between Tilehurst and Pangbourne to enable passenger connections. Buses will take approximately 10 minutes.

Monday - Thursday

From approximately 21:00, trains between Twyford and Henley-on-Thames will be re-timed to depart up to 5 minutes later than usual.

Monday - Friday

The 23:52 London Paddington to Reading service will not call at Burnham and Taplow. Buses will be provided to run between Slough, Burnham and Taplow for passenger connections.

Tuesday - Friday

The 00:34 London Paddington to Reading service, and 00:18 Reading to London Paddington service will not call at Burnham and Taplow. Connecting buses will run between Slough, Burnham and Taplow.

The 00:18 Henley-on-Thames to Reading service will terminate at Twyford. Other rail services will be available between Twyford and Reading.

Friday

The 23:34 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway service will use alternative platforms at Tilehurst, Goring & Streatley and Cholsey, and will not call at Pangbourne.

Buses will be provided to run between Tilehurst and Pangbourne to enable passenger connections. Buses will take approximately 10 minutes.
