Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Tamworth, closing all lines.

On Saturday until approximately 17:15, trains will be diverted on an alternative route, extending journey times by a few minutes.

From approximately 17:15 on Saturday, and all day Sunday, trains will divert and not be able to call at Wilnecote and Tamworth. Trains will call additionally at Lichfield City. Journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes on the diversion route.

Trains which usually run between Nottingham and Cardiff Central will be split, and will operate between Nottingham and Derby, and also between Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central only.

Buses will be provided to run between Lichfield City, Tamworth and Wilnecote.

You may require a change of train in your journey. Please allow extra time when travelling, as journey times will be extended.
