Chiltern Railways

In connection to the engineering works taking place on the West Coast Mainline, Chiltern Railways will be operating a heavily revised timetable.

It is not yet confirmed how Chiltern Railways timetables will be amended, but based on previous engineering works of a similar nature it is anticipated the service will be altered as follows:

Saturday and Sunday

  • Between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street - 2 trains per hour
  • Between London Marylebone and Oxford - 2 trains per hour
  • Between London Marylebone and Banbury - 1 train per hour
  • Between London Marylebone and Aylesbury via High Wycombe - 1 train per hour
  • Between Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon - 1 train every 2 hours
  • Between Warwick Parkway and Dorridge - buses every 2 hours

A normal service will operate on the Met line via Amersham.


A Saturday-style service will be in operation.
