Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Fenchurch Street and Barking, closing all lines from 20:40.

Services will be diverted to start from / terminate at London Liverpool Street.

An amended timetable will be in place from approximately 18:00.

Basildon line

Trains will run between London Liverpool Street and Shoeburyness via Laindon.

From 22:45, the engineering work extends to Upminster. The last through services will be:

  • 21:55 Shoeburyness - London Liverpool Street
  • 22:15 London Liverpool Street - Shoeburyness 

 

After these services, trains will be diverted via an alternative route and call additionally at Grays. A shuttle service will run between Upminster and Grays / Pitsea (via Laindon).

Ockendon line

Trains will run between Upminster and Grays via Ockendon.

Customers travelling to / from Ockendon or Chafford Hundred will need to change trains in most instances.

Rainham line

Trains will run between London Liverpool Street and Shoeburyness via Rainham.

Ticket acceptance

Customers may use their ticket on London Underground District Line between Tower Hill and Barking, and also on Docklands Light Railway between West Ham and Stratford.
