Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Slough, closing some lines throughout the day.

Great Western Railway:

Long distance services:

Trains between London Paddington and South Wales will be amended to run up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Some trains between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Plymouth will be amended to run up to 5 minutes earlier than usual.

Between approximately 09:45 and 18:45, some trains between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa will be amended to run between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa only.

Trains that run to / from Bedwyn / Newbury will be amended to run between Reading and Bedwyn / Newbury only, and will run to a reduced frequency.

Some services will additionally call at Didcot Parkway. The 20:18 London Paddington to Bristol Parkway service will depart earlier than usual at 20:08.

Local services:

Between 09:30 and 22:30, local stopping trains between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will be amended to run between Maidenhead and Didcot Parkway only.

TfL Rail:

Trains between London Paddington will be retimed to run a few minutes earlier than usual. Fewer trains than usual will call at Southall between 09:30 and 20:45.
