Great Western Railway between Reading and Gatwick Airport

Engineering work is taking place between Wanborough and Guildford, and also between Earlswood and Gatwick Airport, closing various lines over the course of the day.

Before 15:30:

Trains between Reading and Redhill / Gatwick Airport will run at a reduced, hourly, frequency between Reading and Ash and also between Guildford and Redhill only.

Replacement buses will run between North Camp and Guildford / Gatwick Airport. Customers should interchange between buses and trains at North Camp instead of Ash.

Customers between Redhill and Gatwick Airport should use alternative train services.

After 15:30:

Trains will start to run between Reading and Redhill only. The first trains to run will be:

  • The 15:15 Gatwick Airport to Reading service (starting at Redhill).
  • The 15:18 Reading to Gatwick Airport service.

After this, trains will run between Reading and Redhill, with other rail connections between Redhill and Gatwick Airport.

The following trains will run through between Reading and Gatwick Airport:

  • The 21:18 Reading to Gatwick Airport service.
  • The 22:17 Reading to Gatwick Airport service.
  • The 23:08 Gatwick Airport to Reading service.
  • The 23:15 Reading to Gatwick Airport service.
