Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Birkenhead North area, closing some lines.

Passengers travelling from New Brighton to Liverpool Central are to travel on the Rail Replacement bus service from New Brighton to Birkenhead North. At Birkenhead North passengers are to transfer to the rail service which will call all stations to Liverpool Central and vice versa.

Passengers travelling from West Kirby to Liverpool Central are to travel on the rail service from West Kirby to Bidston. At Bidston passengers are to join the Rail Replacement bus service to Birkenhead North. At Birkenhead North passengers are to re-join the rail service which will call all stations to Liverpool Central.

Please note that passengers with prams / luggage or who have mobility problems, should leave the train at Leasowe for the Rail Replacement bus to Birkenhead North.

Passengers travelling from Liverpool Central to West Kirby are to travel on the rail service as far as Birkenhead North. At Birkenhead North passenger are to join the Rail Replacement bus service which will call stations to Leasowe. At Leasowe passengers are to transfer to the rail service which will call all stations to West Kirby.
