London Overground between Highbury & Islington and New Cross / Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon

London Overground

Engineering work is taking place between Highbury & Islington and Whitechapel on Saturday and Sunday, and between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction on Sunday, closing various lines.

Saturday and Sunday:

No London Overground services will run between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, or between Surrey Quays and New Cross.

Replacement buses will run between Dalston Kingsland and Shadwell.

Customers travelling between Highbury & Islington and Dalston can use London Buses or alternative London Overground services. Customers can also use London Underground or Docklands Light Railway services by any reasonable route.


No London Overground trains will run between Shadwell and Clapham Junction.

Replacement buses will run between Canada Water and Clapham Junction.

A amended and reduced service will run between Shadwell Crystal Palace / West Croydon.
