East Midlands Railway between London St Pancras International and Sheffield; also between Newark Castle / Nottingham and Matlock

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Belper area and between Ambergate and Matlock, closing most lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will divert via an alternative route between Derby and Chesterfield with journey times extended by 30 minutes. 

East Midlands Railway:

All weekend:

All services between London St Pancras International and Sheffield will be diverted and will not call at Derby.

A rail replacement bus service will run between East Midlands Parkway and Derby and also between Derby and Chesterfield. Some bus services will call at Long Eaton.

Services that are booked to run between London St Pancras International and Derby only are not affected and will run as normal.

Buses will also replace trains between Derby and Matlock.

Saturday:

The 05:21 Derby to London St Pancras International will be retimed to depart Derby earlier and will not call at Long Eaton. It will run to its normal schedule from East Midlands Parkway onwards. A rail replacement bus service will run Derby, Long Eaton, East Midlands Parkway to connect with the train service .

Trains between Newark Castle and Matlock will operate to a revised timetable between Newark Castle and Derby only.

Sunday:

Services between Nottingham and Matlock will operate to a revised timetable between Nottingham and Derby only.
