Description

Engineering work is taking place between Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield, closing all lines.

Avanti West Coast:

Trains between London and Manchester via Stoke-on-Trent, will be diverted via Wilmslow, Crewe and Stafford.

CrossCountry:

Trains will be diverted, not calling at Stoke-on-Trent or Macclesfield. Replacement buses will run between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent / Macclesfield.

London Northwestern Railway:

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Stafford / Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent will not run (except the 20:04 Crewe to Birmingham New Street and the 22:00 Birmingham New Street to Crewe services - which will be retimed at Crewe, diverted and not call at stations between Crewe and Stafford).

Rail replacement buses will operate between Stafford and Crewe, calling at Stone, Stoke-on-Trent, Kidsgrove and Alsager.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Manchester Piccadilly / Stockport and Stoke-on-Trent.
