Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Swansea / Carmarthen, and also between Portsmouth Harbour / Taunton and Cardiff Central

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Parkway and Severn Tunnel Junction, closing all lines.

Buses will replace trains between Newport and Bristol Parkway, with both fast and stopping buses being available.

Trains between London Paddington and Swansea will be diverted between Swindon and Gloucester, and will not call at Bristol Parkway. Most trains that usually run to / from Carmarthen will be amended to run to / from Swansea instead. A few services will run to / from Carmarthen. If you are travelling between Swansea and Carmarthen, you should use alternative Transport for Wales services instead.

Trains that usually run between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will be amended to run between Bristol Parkway and Portsmouth Harbour. Trains that usually run between Cardiff Central and Taunton will be amended to run between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton only.
