Engineering work is taking place between Leeds and Harrogate, closing some lines.


On Sunday before 11:40, trains will not call at Leeds. Replacement buses will run between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds, and between York and Leeds.


All day Saturday and Sunday Harrogate services will start and terminate at Leeds. 

Between 23:40 Saturday and 11:40 Sunday, Leeds station will be closed. Trains will start / terminate at Doncaster, Wakefield Westgate or York. A replacement coach service will operate to and from Leeds.


Leeds – Harrogate – York:  Trains will run between Horsforth and York, buses will operate between Leeds and Horsforth.

Leeds – Skipton / Morecambe / Carlisle:  An amended timetable will operate, you will need to change trains at Skipton for service to Morecambe / Carlisle. Until 11:40 on Sunday buses will run between Leeds and Skipton.

Leeds – Bradford Forster Square / Ilkley:  Buses will run between Leeds and Kirkstall Forge.

On Sunday, until 11:40:

Leeds – Doncaster / Sheffield via Moorthorpe:  Buses will replace trains between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate.

Leeds – Knottingley via Wakefield :  Buses replace trains.

Leeds – Knottingley via Castleford:  Buses replace trains between Leeds and Castleford.

Leeds – Sheffield / Nottingham via Barnsley:  Buses replace trains between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

Leeds – Selby:  Buses replace trains.

TransPennine Express:

On Sunday morning before 11:40, trains will not call at Leeds. Trains will run to an amended timetable, and replacement buses will run between Huddersfield / Selby and Leeds / York.
