Description

The Coronavirus pandemic (and more recently the Omicron variant) has had a significant impact on the West Midlands Railway workforce meaning many members of staff are currently unable to attend work. Whilst every effort has been made to run the planned service, some trains across the West Midlands Railway network may be cancelled at short notice. Please check your journey before travelling. 

Leamington Spa - Nuneaton

Buses are replacing trains between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton via Coventry until further notice.

Birmingham New Street - Birmingham International

The shuttle train that runs between Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International has been reduced to an hourly service from Monday to Saturday.

Shrewsbury - Birmingham New Street 

Some services between Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street are likely to be cancelled at short notice. 

West Midlands Railway are keeping the situation on these routes under close review and they intend to reinstate the full timetable on these lines as soon as possible​.
