Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Grindleford, closing all lines.

East Midlands Railway:

All Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street services will terminate at Sheffield, with buses connecting passengers between Sheffield and Stockport. No EMR services will operate between Stockport and Liverpool Lime Street, so you will need to travel with Northern or TransPennine Express to reach stations beyond Stockport.

Due to further engineering work between Chesterfield and Sheffield, trains between Norwich and Sheffield will incur extended journey times of up to 30 minutes


Buses will be provided between Sheffield and Chinley. Edale will be served by a mini-bus shuttle service to / from Hope. Trains will run between Edale and Manchester Piccadilly.
