East Midlands Railway between Norwich / Peterborough and  Manchester Piccadilly / Liverpool Lime Street

Northern between Blackpool North and Hazel Grove, between Manchester Piccadilly and Buxton and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester

TransPennine Express between Manchester Piccadilly and Cleethorpes

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Stockport and Hazel Grove, closing some lines.

East Midlands Railway:

Trains will be diverted and will not call at Hazel Grove or Stockport. There are no amendments to departure times from any stations.

Rail replacement buses will run hourly non-stop between Stockport and Chesterfield (timed to connect with rail services), and between Stockport and Sheffield. if you are travelling to / from Hazel Grove, please use rail replacement buses run by other operators. 

Northern:

Saturday and Sunday

Trains between Blackpool North and Hazel Grove will start / terminate at Stockport.

Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Buxton will not run.

Buses replace trains between Stockport and Hazel Grove / Buxton.

Sunday

Trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will depart up to 3 minutes earlier than normally advertised and call additionally at Levenshulme and Heaton Chapel.

Trains between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly will run as normally advertised.

TransPennine Express:

Trains will not call at Stockport on Saturday or Sunday.
