Buses replace evening / morning trains between Brighton and Worthing from Monday 16 to Friday 20 May

Engineering work is taking place between Brighton and Littlehampton, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

From 23:30 until the end of service each night, buses replace trains between Brighton and Worthing. Trains that usually run between London Victoria and Worthing will be diverted to run between London Victoria and Brighton.


  • The 22:40 Portsmouth Harbour to Brighton service (Monday to Thursday) will depart Littlehampton earlier than usual at 23:33, and will run non-stop to Hove. A replacement bus will run between Littlehampton and Hove.
  • The 00:04 Brighton to West Worthing (Tuesday to Friday) service will be bus replaced throughout.
