Description

Engineering work is taking place between Tyseley / Acocks Green / Spring Road and Birmingham Snow Hill, closing all lines throughout the day from Monday morning until Friday morning.

Chiltern Railways:

Trains will run between London Marylebone and Banbury / Dorridge, and also between Birmingham Snow Hill and Stourbridge Junction / Kidderminster.

Replacement buses will run between Dorridge and Birmingham International via Solihull.

Please note: Industrial action does affect Chiltern Railways services during this engineering work.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your tickets with:

  • Avanti West Coast / West Midlands Trains between Coventry and Birmingham New Street.
  • CrossCountry between Banbury and Birmingham New Street.

 

West Midlands Railway:

  • Services between Worcester Foregate Street / Worcester Shrub Hill / Kidderminster / Stourbridge Junction and Dorridge / Leamington Spa / Whitlocks End / Stratford-upon-Avon will start / terminate at Birmingham Snow Hill.
  • Most services which start / terminate at Stratford-upon-Avon will also run between Acocks Green (via Dorridge) and Spring Road (via Whitlocks End) and will run to an amended timetable.

 

Rail replacement buses will operate between:

  • Birmingham Snow Hill and Acocks Green / Dorridge
  • Birmingham Snow Hill and Shirley via Spring Road
