Engineering work is taking place between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace all day, closing all lines.

London Overground:

No services will operate between New Cross Gate and West Croydon / Crystal Palace.

Ticket Acceptance:

  • Customers should use London Underground services via any reasonable route.
  • Customers should also use Southern rail replacement services.



Buses will replace trains between New Cross Gate and West Croydon.

Trains between London Bridge and Caterham / Tattenham Corner will run to an amended timetable, and will be diverted to run via Peckham Rye.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use London Underground / London Overground services between London Bridge and New Cross Gate via Canada Water.


Thameslink services will run to an amended timetable, and will be diverted between London Bridge and East Croydon, with extended journey times.

Early morning trains to / from Sutton will be amended to run to / from London Blackfriars instead of London Bridge.
