Following the end to the recent RMT union national strike across the railway industry, it may be early afternoon before ScotRail services are able to operate as normal on many routes on Sunday 26 June.
What does this mean for ScotRail services?
As there will be limited services running, please only travel if necessary. If you have to travel, you should expect disruption and plan ahead.
On the days following strike action there will be disruption caused by the reopening of signal boxes at different times across Scotland. While the large signalling centres at Yoker, West of Scotland and Edinburgh will be able to operate from 07:15, this will not be the case at manual boxes elsewhere and it may well be early afternoon before many routes are able to operate as normal.
If you are travelling by train this week please check your last train, as it may be a lot earlier than usual.
