Description

The RMT, TSSA and Unite have voted in favour of striking on Thursday 18, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 August. The rail industry has implemented its contingency plans to minimise customer disruption. Most train operating companies will run amended timetables on Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August. There may also be some disruption to services the day before, between and after the strike. 

Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August:

The RMT union strike action will affect all National Rail train operating companies on Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August. For the latest information from each train operating company, please click on the below links, which will be live shortly:

On Friday 19 August, London Underground, London Overground and Elizabeth line  will be affected by strike action. More details can be found on the TfL website

Check before you travel:

The strike timetables for 18 and 19 August are now updated in Journey Planners. The 20 August timetable is expected to be available from 16 August.

In the event of your service being affected by strike action cross industry ticket easements and acceptance may be made available. If you have purchased an Advance, Off-Peak or Anytime ticket and choose not to travel, you will be eligible for a change or refund from the original retailer of your ticket.
