Station Access

From 22nd June until EOD 29/08/25, the ramped entrances to Deighton station will be closed. Access to the station will be temporarily diverted to the rear of the houses on Whitacre Street – the route will include several steps and a temporary footbridge between platforms.

Customers who require step-free access are advised to travel to Huddersfield, where an accessible taxi will be arranged to Deighton. Arrangements can be made in advance in advance by creating a booking through Passenger Assist or contacting the Northern customer experience centre via telephone on 0800 200 6060 or via Whatsapp on 07779 914800. Customers arriving to travel from Deighton can also seek assistance using the help point at the station entrance.
