When in Peterborough

Impressive on the inside as it is on the outside, Peterborough Cathedral is an incredible sight to see. A fine example of Norman architecture, wander through one of the most significant medieval abbeys in England, burial place of two of King Henry VIII’s wives, and delve into its history spanning all the way back to the Roman Period. 

For those who are into history Flag Fen is a fantastic educational walk and window into how the Bronze Age community lived. Walk through a Bronze Age village where you can explore reconstructed roundhouses and see for yourselves the range of ancient artefacts that have been uncovered on site.

If you’re looking for places to eat, Peterborough has a wide and diverse selection of cuisines to suit all budgets and occasions. The City Market food court is a great place to visit for street food.
