Southend Airport is located in Essex, on the Southeast of England. It serves the following destinations: Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and a number of European cities such as Alicante, Catania, Malta, Barcelona, Budapest, Bordeaux to name a few. Southend Airport is equipped with a modern, purpose‐built train station, just two‐minutes walk from the terminal. There are up to eight train services every hour running Monday to Saturday, during peak time, connecting travelers to London Liverpool in less than 45 minutes either via Shenfield or via Romford. Three train services per hour are directed to Southend Victoria, calling at Prittlewell. Purchasing train tickets from and to Southend airport is easy, the train station facilities offer both a ticket office and a vending ticket machine. For cheap train tickets travelers are advised to purchase Advance tickets to benefit from discounted rates. Passengers stopping at Liverpool Street can access the Hammersmith and City Line, Circle line, Metropolitan Line and Central line. There are easy underground connections taking passengers into the City, in just under one hour. Passengers can catch a direct train to Stratford and reach the destination in under one hour. Stratford train station is connected to the London tube and London Overground, Central line, DLR and Jubilee line.
