SEAT RESERVATIONS ADVISED (WHERE POSSIBLE)

The following operators advise a seat reservation, whenever possible, when travelling on their services.

RECOMMENDED SEAT RESERVATIONS

To ensure you and others are safe on your journey, customers are advised to book in advance and reserve a place on a specific train with the following operators.

GWR Great Western Railway

COMPULSORY SEAT RESERVATIONS

LNER London North Eastern Railway To help support social distancing and to keep you safe when you travel, LNER are working to ensure a safe number of customers can travel on each of their services.

This means that anyone who needs to travel with LNER, for all or even part of their journey, will require a seat reservation before travelling.

Caledonian Sleeper

 

 

Caledonian Sleeper services require reservations for all services.

CrossCountry

From Monday 7th September, reservations are compulsory on CrossCountry services, and will be added when customers purchase a ticket. For customers who already hold a valid ticket, a reservation can be made by either:

  • Calling the Customer Relations team on 03447 369 123 (Option 3) - Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 and Saturday 0800 - 1600
