Gatwick Flyaway Ticket

The following terms and conditions apply to this type of ticket. Please note that some tickets have restrictions on the days or times you can travel. Please check before you travel.

Description

A Standard Class return ticket for 2, 3 or 4 adults travelling together to Gatwick Airport at a special flat rate price. Additionally, up to 4 accompanied children can travel for the flat fare of £1 each.

  • G2F - Gatwick Flyaway Two

  • G3F - Gatwick Flyaway Three

  • G4F - Gatwick Flyaway Four

  • GF1 - Gatwick Flyaway Child (this can only be sold alongside one of the adult ticket types G2F, G3F, G4F. GF1 can only be sold separately if the customer already holds an adult Gatwick Flyaway ticket for the same journey, which they show at the time of booking.)

Children travelling with adults need the £1 flat fare child ticket. No other child discounts are available.

Special conditions applicable to the network area

Tickets are only available from the origin to Gatwick Airport (not available with Gatwick as the origin). They are only valid via the North Downs route (Reading – Guildford – Redhill – Gatwick Airport) and are not valid for travel via London.

Customers using a Gatwick Flyaway ticket must travel together at all times during the outward and return journey.

Proof of airline travel may be requested when purchasing tickets.

One ticket covers the whole adult group. Children are issued with separate individual tickets.

Tickets are currently only available from ticket offices, so will currently only be issued on CCST / paper tickets.

Refunds

Refunds are available on completely unused tickets, within 28 days of the expiry date, less a £10 admin fee, per booking. 

If some travel has been completed, the refund should be calculated as follows: 

Calculate the price that would have been paid if the customer had purchased Anytime tickets for all members of the group, for all travel completed using the ticket.  Add one £10 admin fee to this total. Subtract this amount from the total price paid for the tickets.  The remaining amount (if any) is the refund due.  (In some circumstances no refund will be due.) 

Changes To Travel Plans

You may change your travel plans at any time within the validity of the ticket without having to pay an additional fare. There are no time restrictions on when you can travel with this ticket.
