Ticket offices and travel centres, rail-appointed travel agents, online at most train company websites or through other online retailers or train company telesales offices.

Rover tickets may not be issued more than 3 days in advance of their validity (5 days for telesales and internet bookings).

• The Spirit of Scotland Travelpass is not subject to availability and does not need to be purchased/booked in advance.

• Spirit of Scotland Travelpass is valid for travel in Standard class only. 

• Upgrades to First Class are not available

• Weekday and Weekend First Supplements are not valid in conjunction with Spirit of Scotland Travelpass tickets.

• Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance.

• 50% discount for children aged 5-15.  Under 5's travel free.

• Standard Railcard discounts apply.

• Refunds are available, subject to a £10 administration fee, for each unused ticket surrendered before the first date of travel.

• Customers can change their travel plans, as they have unlimited travel, but they cannot change the travel validity period.

• Customers can break their journey as they have unlimited travel.

Spirit of Scotland Travelpass holders can also enjoy included or discounted travel on some travel partners.

• 10% discount on Keith & Dufftown Railway standard fares

• Travel between Gourock and Dunoon with Argyll Ferries

• ​Inverness - Kyle/Wick/Thurso

• Glasgow Central - Stranraer

• Direct services from Lockerbie to Carlisle, Carstairs, Motherwell or Glasgow Central

Refunds are only given on Spirit of Scotland Travelpasses returned to the original retailer before the start date shown on them and are subject to an administration fee of no more than £10.

The Rover has unlimited travel but you cannot change the travel validity period of travel passes.
