Description
Unlimited travel (subject to time restrictions shown) throughout Scotland and between Carlisle and Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Available for flexible periods, either 3 days within 7 [ST9] or 8 days within 15 [ST8].

Pre-booking Requirement
Rover tickets may not be issued more than 3 days in advance of their validity (5 days for telesales and internet bookings).

Reservations are not required, however if travelling on a reservable route then a complimentary seat reservation should be made. Reservations can be made in-person at any National Rail staffed ticket office, up to 12 weeks in advance of travel.

General Conditions
The Spirit of Scotland Travelpass is not subject to availability and does not need to be purchased/booked in advance.
Spirit of Scotland Travelpass is valid for travel in Standard class only.
Upgrades to First Class are not available
Weekday and Weekend First Supplements are not valid in conjunction with Spirit of Scotland Travelpass tickets.
Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance.
50% discount for children aged 5-15. Under 5's travel free.
Standard Railcard discounts apply.
Refunds are available, subject to a £10 administration fee, for each unused ticket surrendered before the first date of travel.
Customers can change their travel plans, as they have unlimited travel, but they cannot change the travel validity period.
Customers can break their journey as they have unlimited travel.

The ticket-holder must validate the ticket for each day's travel by writing the date in the next box on the card. This must be done in ink before starting.

Mondays to Fridays valid from 09:15.
There are no restrictions on the following routes:
Glasgow Queen Street - Oban/Fort William/Mallaig
Inverness - Kyle/Wick/Thurso
Glasgow Central - Stranraer
Direct services from Lockerbie to Carlisle, Carstairs, Motherwell or Glasgow Central
Valid at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Return Journey

Refunds
Refunds are only given on Spirit of Scotland Travelpasses returned to the original retailer before the start date shown on them and are subject to an administration fee of no more than £10.
Changes To Travel Plans
The Rover has unlimited travel but you cannot change the travel validity period of travel passes.
