Child Flat Fare One Day Travelcards are available for most Standard Class Off-Peak return journeys that start outside London Zones 1-6, on Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Southern and Thameslink services for £2.00.
Child Flat Fare One Day Travelcards are not valid:
For use by unaccompanied children.
Where the adult passenger wants to use Pay As You Go to pay for their travel with an Oyster card, contactless bank card or mobile device.
Where the adult passenger holds a ticket or pass which only includes travel within London Zones 1-6, without purchasing an additional extension ticket, to match the journey of the child £2.00 One Day Travelcard ticket purchased.
In First Class accommodation.
On other operators services outside of London Zones 1-6.

The Off-Peak times are determined by the time-of-day restrictions applicable to the adult Standard Class Off-Peak One Day Travelcard ticket for that particular journey.
This applies whether the adult holds an Anytime One Day Travelcard ticket, Season Ticket, or other travel pass that doesn't have any time restrictions.
Where the adult passenger has a Super Off-Peak One Day Travelcard ticket, the £2 ticket has the same time restrictions as the adults ticket.
