Some tickets may require you to travel at specific times of the day, days of the week or on a specific route. Our Journey Planner takes ticket restrictions into account with the selection that you have made and will only have shown tickets that are valid for the selected trains.

This is a temporary restriction used on dates when engineering work is taking place, for routes where restriction YP usually applies. Validity will match YP unless stated in the easement text.

Outward Travel

Not valid on trains timed to depart:

London Paddington after 04:29 and before 10:10 and after 15:04 and before 19:01
Reading after 04:29 and before 10:30 and after 15:29 and before 19:01;
London Waterloo after 04:29 and before 08:16 and after 15:59 and before 19:01;
Clapham Junction after 04:29 and before 07:21 and after 15:59 and before 19:01.

Return Travel

Not valid for travel on trains timed to depart earlier than shown from the following stations:

08:15 from St Germans
08:25 from Saltash
08:18 from Plymouth
08:49 from Ivybridge
08:45 from Totnes
09:00 from Newton Abbot
09:20 from Exeter St Davids

Not valid on trains timed to arrive at London Waterloo before 11:48.

Easement

The following timing easements will apply during this line closure, for customers travelling to/from stations (and branch lines) from Pewsey to Penzance inclusive, for journeys to / from / via Didcot, Reading, London and Southeast:

The 18:36 service from London Paddington to Plymouth temporarily becomes Super Off-Peak

The 18:57 service from London Paddington to Exeter St Davids temporarily becomes Super Off-Peak

Travel towards London

The 06:05 service from Penzance to London Paddington temporarily becomes Super Off-Peak
