Cornwall Ranger

The Cornwall Ranger is a one-day Ranger available from National Rail ticket offices and train managers/conductors.

Cornwall Ranger is valid for use on all rail services after 09:00 (08:45 from 7th September 2025) within Cornwall and also between Cornwall and Plymouth and on the Gunnislake Tamar Valley branch line.

Cornwall Ranger may be used at any time on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

When is my ticket valid?

Available from 09:00 (Monday-Fridays)* and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, plus the following additional trains:

08:09 Plymouth - Penzance

08:28 Plymouth - Gunnislake

08:30 Liskeard - Looe

08:16 Liskeard - Looe

From 7th September 2025 the following validity will apply:

Valid from 08:45 on weekdays* and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

Also valid on the following trains:

• On all services on the St Ives branch line

• 08:28 Plymouth to Gunnislake (any journey on this train)

• 08:09 service from Plymouth to Penzance (valid from Plymouth and all stations west of Plymouth)

• 08:16 service from Liskeard to Looe (any journey on this train)

Except on Sleeper services, the Cornwall Rangers are valid for travel until 04:29 of the morning immediately following the expiry date shown on the ticket.

*Easements are in place over Christmas and New Year. Check back for exact dates.
