For journeys of over 10 miles, Concessionary fares are based on SDS and SDR tickets.

Flat fare tickets, including flat fare zone (single and return) are valid as dated. For journeys over 10 miles (except flat fare zone), tickets are valid as appropriate to the full price ticket from which they are derived.

Not valid on trains timed to depart between 06:00 and 09:00 and between 16:30 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. Valid all day at weekends and on Bank holidays.

There is no peak time restriction if the cardholder is travelling to a hospital appointment (Written proof in the form of an appointment card or other clear written evidence regarding the time and date of an appointment at a Health Board hospital must be produced on request. This will include at time of ticket purchase and on mode of travel where ticket inspections are undertaken).

Disabled card holders are NOT subject to the time restriction.

Ferry card holders are NOT subject to the time restriction.
