Saturday 29 August

Buses will replace trains between Norwich and Lowestoft

Engineering work will be taking place all day, the line will be closed for repairs to Reedham swing bridge. Buses will replace trains between Norwich and Lowestoft.

Change to 23:30 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service

Due to late night engineering work, the 23:30 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service will be a train as far as Ipswich. It will be replaced by a bus between Ipswich and Norwich, calling at Stowmarket and Diss.

Late night changes to services for Colchester and Chelmsford events

Greater Anglia services will be enhanced to help people get home from the Colchester Castle Park, Chelmsford Wheelers Farm and Chelmsford Summer Series events on Saturday 29 August.

The following changes to trains will be made:

  • 22:18 London Liverpool Street to Clacton-on-Sea will call additionally at Alresford and Great Bentley

  • 22:56 Colchester to Walton-on-the-Naze will run slightly later from Colchester to Thorpe-Le-Soken

Sunday 30 August

Buses will replace trains between Norwich and Lowestoft

Engineering work will be taking place all day, the line will be closed for repairs to Reedham swing bridge. Buses will replace trains between Norwich and Lowestoft.

Change to 06:55 Norwich to London Liverpool Street service

Due to early morning engineering work, the 06:55 Norwich to London Liverpool Street service will start forward from Ipswich at 07:37. Customers from Norwich should travel on later services.

Monday 31 August - August Bank Holiday

After 23:35: Change to trains through Seven Sisters

Due to overnight engineering work, between 23:35 on Monday night and 05:15 on Tuesday morning, trains which usually run via Seven Sisters will be diverted to run via Tottenham Hale instead.

Stations on the Tottenham Hale line are only a short distance from those on the Seven Sisters line. You can view maps that show routes between these stations on the Greater Anglia website.
