Saturday 4 April
Amended service at Preston, Lancaster and Oxenholme Lake District
Due to extensive engineering work on the West Coast Main Line between Preston, Lancaster and Oxenholme Lake District, the following service changes will be made in both directions:
Leeds - Lancaster / Morecambe trains will operate between Leeds and Skipton only. Replacement buses will be provided between Skipton and Carnforth via Morecambe
Lancaster - Morecambe / Heysham Port trains will be replaced by buses throughout
Lancaster / Preston - Barrow-in-Furness trains will operate between Grange-over-Sands and Barrow-in-Furness only. Replacement buses will run between Lancaster and Grange-over-Sands. Arnside and Silverdale will be served by a mini bus service to and from Carnforth.
Oxenholme Lake District - Windermere trains will not run and will be replaced by buses
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the replacement buses between Preston, Lancaster and Oxenholme Lake District that will be provided by TransPennine Express and Avanti West Coast
Buses will be replacing trains between Leeds and York, and between Leeds and Selby
Due to engineering work closing the lines between Leeds, Micklefield and York the following service changes will be made:
Leeds - York via Garforth: No trains will run between Leeds and York via Garforth. Replacement buses will be provided between Leeds and York
Blackpool North - York: Trains will terminate at and start back from Leeds. Replacement buses will be provided between Leeds and York
Halifax - Hull: Trains will terminate at and start back from Leeds. Replacement buses will be provided between Leeds and Selby. Train services are available between Selby and Hull
Buses will be replacing trains between Huddersfield and Lockwood
Due to engineering work closing the line between Huddersfield and Lockwood, buses will be replacing trains between these stations. Very early and late in the day, the buses will be extended to Penistone.
Trains will be able to run between Sheffield and Lockwood.

Monday 6 April - Easter Monday
Late night service changes between Manchester Victoria and Wigan
Due to late night engineering work the following service changes will be made:
21:30 Blackburn to Southport service will be diverted via an alternative route between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate, and will not call at stations via Swinton and Atherton. A replacement bus will be provided from Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate to serve these stations
22:20 Blackburn to Wigan Wallgate service will terminate at Manchester Victoria. A replacement bus will be provided from Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate
22:25 Southport to Manchester Victoria service will run between Southport and Wigan Wallgate, and between Bolton and Manchester Victoria. A replacement bus will be provided from Wigan Wallgate to Manchester Victoria
22:27 Manchester Oxford Road to Wigan North Western service will terminate at Bolton. A replacement bus will be provided from Bolton to Wigan Wallgate. Customers are advised to make alternative arrangements to get from Wigan Wallgate to Wigan North Western
22:49 Wigan Wallgate to Rochdale service will start from Manchester Victoria. A replacement bus will be provided from Wigan Wallgate to Manchester Victoria
23:20 Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate service will depart at earlier at 23:03 and will not call at any intermediate stations. A replacement bus will be provided from Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate calling at all stations normally served by the train
Changes to late night trains to and from Manchester Piccadilly
Due to late night engineering work the following service changes will be made:
22:23 Blackpool North to Manchester Piccadilly service will call additionally at Heald Green
22:46 Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke-on-Trent service will be replaced by a bus throughout
22:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by a bus throughout
22:57 Buxton to Manchester Piccadilly will not call at Heaton Chapel or Levenshulme. A replacement bus will be provided from Stockport to Manchester Piccadilly
23:12 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at stations between Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly. A replacement bus will be provided from Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly
23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will be replaced by a bus throughout
23:16 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield service will be replaced by a bus throughout
23:23 Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove will be replaced by a bus throughout
23:28 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at Stockport. A replacement bus will be provided from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at Stockport
23:37 Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport will not run
23:36 Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe service will depart at 23:37 and will be diverted to run via Heald Green. It will also not call at stations between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow. A replacement bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Wilmslow to serve these stations
Amended 22:38 Preston to Colne service
Due to late night engineering work, the 22:38 Preston to Colne service will terminate at Blackburn. A bus will be provided between Blackburn and Colne.
A bus will replace 23:42 Clitheroe to Blackburn service
Due to late night engineering work, the 23:42 Clitheroe to Blackburn service will be replaced by a bus.
Changes to some late night services to and from Liverpool Lime Street
Due to late night engineering work, the following service changes will be made:
22:17 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street will not call at stations between St Helens Central and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided from St Helens Central to Liverpool Lime Street
22:43 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street
23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria will depart earlier at 23:20 and will continue to run earlier than normal to Broad Green. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria, departing Liverpool Lime Street at 23:30 and stopping to set down only at Broad Green
