Early May Bank Holiday:

Please note: Northern services may be disrupted on Saturday 4 May and Monday 6 May by ASLEF Union 'action short of a strike'. This will be in addition to the service changes detailed below. Please check your journey before you travel.

Saturday 4 May

Due to engineering work between Micklefield and York, the following changes will apply:

• The 20:19 and 21:18 Blackpool North to York services will terminate at Leeds.

• The 20:58 Bridlington to York service will terminate at Hull.

• The 22:47 York to Hull service will not run.

• The 23:14 York to Leeds service will not run.

Due to engineering work between York and Poppleton, the following changes will apply:

• The 21:29 Leeds to York service will terminate at Harrogate.

• The 22:44 York to Leeds service will start from Harrogate.

Sunday 5 May

Due to engineering work between Micklefield and York, the following changes will apply:

• The 08:15 and 09:20 Leeds to York services will terminate at Micklefield.

• The 08:15 Selby to Leeds service will not run.

• The 08:22 York to Leeds service will not run.

• The 08:39 Hull to York service will terminate at Selby.

• The 08:51 and 10:01 York to Hull services will start from Selby.

• The 09:20 and 10:07 Leeds to York services will terminate at Micklefield.

• The 09:22 and 10:20 York to Blackpool North services will start from Leeds.

Rail replacement buses will run between York and Micklefield / Leeds / Selby / Hull.

Due to engineering work between York and Poppleton, the following changes will apply:

• The 09:05 Leeds to York service will terminate at Harrogate.

• The 09:46 and 10:47 York to Leeds service will start from Harrogate.

Rail replacement buses will run between York and Harrogate.

Due to engineering work between Maryport and Carlisle, buses will replace trains between Workington and Carlisle. Trains will run between Barrow-in-Furness and Maryport.

Due to engineering work taking place between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Piccadilly, the following changes will apply:

• Buses will replace trains between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Lime Street. Train services will run between Hunts Cross and Manchester Oxford Road.

• Trains that usually run between Leeds and Chester will be amended to run between Leeds and Liverpool Lime Street. You should use other Northern services between Manchester and Chester.

Monday 6 May - Early May Bank Holiday

Due to engineering work taking place between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Piccadilly, the following changes will apply:

• Buses will replace trains between Helsby and Ellesmere Port.

• Buses will replace trains between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Lime Street. Train services will run between Hunts Cross and Manchester Oxford Road.

• Trains that usually run between Leeds and Chester will be amended to run between Leeds and Liverpool Lime Street. You should use other Northern services between Manchester and Chester.

Due to engineering work between Wigan Wallgate / Wigan Northwestern and Bolton / Preston / Salford Crescent, the following changes will apply:

Trains between Headbolt Lane and Blackburn will run between Headbolt Lane and Wigan Wallgate, and between Salford Crescent and Blackburn.

Train services to / from Moses Gate, Farnworth and Kearsley will be retimed and amended.

Replacement buses will run between:

• Buckshaw Parkway and St Helens Central via Euxton Balshaw Lane and Wigan North Western.

• Southport and Wigan Wallgate.

• Wigan Wallgate and Bolton.

• Wigan Wallgate and Salford Crescent via Atherton.

Late May Bank Holiday:

Saturday 25 May

Due to engineering work between Leeds and Castleford / Normanton, the following changes will be made:

• Trains between Leeds and Nottingham will run on an alternative route between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

• Trains between Leeds and Sheffield will start / terminate at Wakefield Kirkgate. Replacement buses will run between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

• Trains between Leeds and Knottingley via Castleford will not run and will be replaced by buses.

Due to engineering work in the Huddersfield area, the following changes will be made:

• Trains between Bradford Interchange and Huddersfield will not run. You should use TransPennine Express services between Halifax / Huddersfield and Brighouse.

• Trains which usually run between Sheffield and Huddersfield will start / terminate at Lockwood. Rail replacement buses will run between Lockwood and Huddersfield.

Due to late night engineering work in the Preston area, the following changes will be made:

• 21:22 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. Onward services are available.

• 22:48 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will run between Manchester Airport and Buckshaw Parkway, and between Preston and Blackpool North. A bus will be provided from Buckshaw Parkway to Blackpool North, stopping to set down only from Preston.

• 23:07 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will run between Blackpool North and Preston, and between Buckshaw Parkway and Manchester Airport. A bus will be provided between Preston and Manchester Airport, stopping to set down only from Buckshaw Parkway.

• 23:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will terminate at Wigan North Western. A bus will be provided between Wigan North Western and Preston.

• 23:17 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will not run. A bus will be provided from Bolton to Blackpool North, connecting out of the 23:45 Manchester Airport to Bolton service.

Sunday 26 May

Due to engineering work between Leeds and Castleford / Normanton, the following changes will be made:

• Trains between Leeds and Nottingham will run on an alternative route between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

• Trains between Leeds and Sheffield will start / terminate at Wakefield Kirkgate. Replacement buses will run between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

• Trains between Leeds and Knottingley via Castleford will not run and will be replaced by buses.

Due to engineering work, trains between Lancaster / Barrow-in-Furness and Carlisle will start / terminate at Maryport. Rail replacement buses will run between Workington and Carlisle.

Due to engineering work in the Huddersfield area, the following changes will be made:

• Trains between Leeds and Huddersfield will start / terminate at Halifax. You should use TransPennine Express trains / replacement bus services between Halifax / Huddersfield and Brighouse.

• Trains which usually run between Sheffield and Huddersfield will start / terminate at Lockwood. Rail replacement buses will run between Lockwood and Huddersfield.

Due to early morning engineering work in the Preston area, the following changes will be made:

• 07:36 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will run between Manchester Airport and Buckshaw Parkway, and between Preston and Blackpool North.

• 07:36 Blackpool North to Manchester Oxford Road will start from Buckshaw Parkway. A bus will be provided between Blackpool North and Buckshaw Parkway, departing at 07:19 to connect with the train at Buckshaw Parkway.

• 07:55 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will run between Blackpool North and Preston, and between Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided between Preston and Wigan North Western.

• 08:29 Liverpool Lime Street to Blackpool North service will run between Liverpool Lime Street and Wigan North Western, and between Preston and Blackpool North.

• 08:36 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street will run between Blackpool North and Preston, and between Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided between Preston and Wigan North Western.

• 09:12 Preston to Manchester Airport service will start at 09:30 and run later than normally advertised throughout, and will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. Services are available to Manchester Airport.

• 10:33 Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness service will start from Manchester Oxford Road.

Monday 27 May - Late May Bank Holiday

Due to engineering work between Leeds and Castleford / Normanton, the following changes will be made:

• Trains between Leeds and Nottingham will run on an alternative route between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

• Trains between Leeds and Sheffield will start / terminate at Wakefield Kirkgate. Replacement buses will run between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.

• Trains between Leeds and Knottingley via Castleford will not run and will be replaced by buses.

Due to late night engineering work between Manchester Victoria and Smithy Bridge, the following changes will be made:

• 23:03 Manchester Victoria to Blackburn service will start from Rose Grove. Customers should travel on the 23:23 Manchester Victoria to Leeds service as far as Todmorden, from where a bus will be provided to Blackburn.

• 23:20 Blackburn to Manchester Victoria service will terminate at Rose Grove. A bus will be provided from Rose Grove to Manchester Victoria.

Due to late night engineering work between Huyton and Edge Hill, the following changes will be made:

• 22:43 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street.

• 23:00 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport.

• 23:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will start from Wigan North Western. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Preston.

• 23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout.
