Saturday 29 August
Changes to services that run between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye
Due to engineering work closing the lines between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye, the following service changes will be made:
Buses will replace trains between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye (also calling additionally at Herne Hill)
London Bridge - Beckenham Junction: trains will only run between Tulse Hill and Beckenham Junction
London Bridge - East Croydon via Peckham Rye (which usually call at all stations): trains will only run between Tulse Hill and East Croydon
After 23:45: buses will replace late night trains between Brighton and Littlehampton
Due to late night engineering work, from approximately 23:45 until the end of service, buses will replace trains between Brighton and Littlehampton.
Additionally, the 23:16 London Victoria to Chichester train will divert to Brighton. A replacement bus will run from Brighton to Chichester.
Sunday 30 August
Changes to services that run between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye
Due to engineering work closing the lines between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye, the following service changes will be made:
Buses will replace trains between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye (also calling additionally at Herne Hill)
London Bridge - East Croydon via Peckham Rye (which usually call at all stations): trains will run between Tulse Hill and Caterham / Tattenham Corner via East Croydon
London Victoria - London Bridge: trains will only run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace
London Bridge - Caterham via Norwood Junction: trains will not run
Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Underground Jubilee Line trains between London Bridge and Canada Water, and on London Overground trains between Canada Water and Norwood Junction / Crystal Palace
Before 08:30: buses will replace early morning trains between Brighton and Worthing / Littlehampton
Due to early Sunday morning engineering work, the 00:02 London Victoria to Worthing train will divert to Brighton. A replacement bus will run from Brighton to Worthing.
Before 08:30 on Sunday morning, trains that run between London Victoria and Worthing / Littlehampton will instead run between London Victoria and Brighton. Replacement buses will run between Brighton and Worthing / Littlehampton.
Before 09:00: amended service between London Victoria and Three Bridges / Brighton
Due to early morning engineering work, between approximately 01:00 and 09:00 on Sunday morning, trains between London Victoria and Three Bridges / Brighton will run to an amended timetable with extended journey times.
Before 12:00: Changes to services between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction
Due to Sunday morning engineering work, the following service changes will be made:
Before 08:00:
No Southern trains will run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction.
Before 12:00:
From approximately 08:00 until 12:00 on Sunday morning, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.
You can use alternative London Overground trains between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction. Or alternatively, Southern trains between Clapham Junction and London Victoria, London Underground between Victoria and Euston, and London Northwestern Railway / London Overground trains between London Euston and Watford Junction.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost between:
London Euston – Watford Junction (London Northwestern Railway)
Paper ticket acceptance will be in place on London Underground / London Overground trains until 13:00 on Sunday:
Victoria – Euston (Victoria line)
Victoria – Shepherds Bush (Circle and Central line)
Victoria – West Brompton (District line)
Oxford Circus – Harrow & Wealdstone (Bakerloo line)
Clapham Junction – Willesden Junction (Mildmay line)
London Euston – Watford Junction (Lioness line)
After 22:30: buses will replace late night trains between Brighton and Worthing / Littlehampton
Due to late night engineering work, after approximately 22:30 on Sunday evening, trains that run between London Victoria and Worthing / Littlehampton will instead run between London Victoria and Brighton.
Replacement buses will run between Brighton and Worthing / Littlehampton.
Monday 31 August - August Bank Holiday
Amended Bank Holiday service
As a result of the Bank Holiday, Southern will run an amended train service all day (subject to the engineering work changes detailed below).
Changes to services that run between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye
Due to engineering work closing the lines between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye, the following service changes will be made:
Buses will replace trains between London Bridge and Tulse Hill via Peckham Rye (also calling additionally at Herne Hill)
London Bridge - Beckenham Junction: trains will only run between Tulse Hill and Beckenham Junction
London Bridge - East Croydon via Peckham Rye (which usually call at all stations): trains will only run between Tulse Hill and East Croydon
After 22:00: buses will be replacing trains between Epsom and Dorking / Horsham
Due to late night engineering work, from approximately 22:00 until the end of service, buses will replace trains between Epsom and Dorking / Horsham.
After 23:45: buses will be replacing late night trains between London Bridge and East Croydon / West Croydon via Norwood Junction
Due to late night engineering work in the Norwood Junction area, from approximately 23:45 until the end of service, buses will replace trains between London Bridge and East Croydon / West Croydon via Norwood Junction. Some trains will be diverted via alternative routes. Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.
After 23:45: changes to late night trains to and from East Croydon
Due to late night engineering work in the East Croydon area, the following service changes will be made (in addition to the above):
From approximately 23:45 until the end of service trains will run to an amended timetable with extended journey times between London Victoria and East Croydon.
Additionally. the 22:10 East Croydon to Watford Junction train will terminate at Shepherds Bush, and the 23:42 Watford Junction to Clapham Junction train will not run. Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on alternative London Overground or London Northwestern Railway trains.
After 23:45: Change to services between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges / Horsham
Due to overnight engineering work in the Coulsdon South area, after 23:45 on Monday night until the end of service, trains will be diverted and unable to call at stations between Purley and Horley via Redhill.
Replacement buses will run between East Croydon / Purley and Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges / Horsham. Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.
