Planned Disruption Videos
Occasionally planned engineering works can impact your journey, meaning that you may need to travel by a different route or use rail replacement services. Where this happens, we provide short videos to help you plan your journey
Our videos, created for bigger disruption events, feature a presenter standing in front of a map of the rail network explaining how services will be disrupted and providing advice on how to complete your journey. We aim to keep the videos short and free of jargon, and also make the content accessible with captions and British Sign Language.
You can find videos for upcoming disruption events below, by week. They are also on X (formerly Twitter) under the hashtag #DisruptionVideos. Information on all disruption events is provided on the Status and Disruption page.
