What to do in Bristol

Whether you are young or young at heart, like to party or embrace the arts, Bristol is a place that you can enjoy at your own pace.

Park Street not only covers 600 years of history within 600 metres with heritage sites, beautiful buildings, towers and Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, it is also the central hub of Bristol’s day and nightlife. The Triangle is where you can shop in independent boutiques and grab a coffee at one of many cafes during the day, then head back out to the bars, pubs, restaurants and clubs in the night.

St Nicholas Market is the oldest market in Bristol. Established in 1743, it was named one of the top 10 in the UK and is where you can find some of the best food in the city as well as an impressive number of independent retailers.

There is a fantastic LGBTQIA+ scene, with plenty of events throughout the year, from club nights and drag queen brunches to film festivals and zine swaps. Bristol welcomes and embraces all aspects of queer culture.

Explore the city on foot by taking a walking tour. There are plenty of walks to choose from to suit all ages, but the Harbourside is a great walk that allows you to explore the city traffic-free.
