What to do in Edinburgh

Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh is full of history, culture and knows all the right ways to throw a party. You’ll be spellbound by its stunning views, old buildings and stories of the city.

Immerse yourself in the city’s stunning architecture perched atop hills with little nooks and crannies to explore. Venture into the Old Town, a neighbourhood dating back to Medieval times, and the start of the Royal Mile where you will find charming old pubs, restaurants and shops selling various goods from whisky to cashmere.

At the top of the Royal Mile stands Edinburgh Castle, one of Scotland’s world-famous icons. With St Margaret’s Chapel being the oldest part of the castle dating back to the 12th Century, the castle is rich with history and comes with an incredible view of Edinburgh.

One of the best times to visit is during Winter, where you can experience a truly magical Christmas and the only way to bring in the new year. The Christmas Markets in the evenings feel like you’re in a fairy tale, full of twinkling lights, carnival rides and stalls full of delicious and warming Scottish fare.

Hogmanay is one massive street festival involving firewalking and partying alongside dancers, giant puppets, stilt walkers and performances from big names.
