Between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Coventry and Birmingham International, closing some lines.

Services between London Euston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh that run via Birmingham New Street will not run.

1 train per hour will operate between Birmingham International and Warrington Bank Quay.

2 trains per hour will operate between Preston and Edinburgh.

Services between London Euston and Glasgow Central via Tamworth will be retimed and diverted via Manchester Piccadilly and Bolton, additionally calling at Crewe, Stockport, Oxenholme Lake District and Penrith North Lake.

On Sunday only, some services London Euston and Glasgow Central via Tamworth will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central only. Other services will be diverted via Mount Florida.

Rail replacement buses will operate between:

  • Rugby and Birmingham International, calling at Coventry

  • On Sunday until 11:35 Rugby and Birmingham New Street, calling at Coventry

Please be aware you may be further impacted by engineering work taking place in the Wigan North Western area and also in the Motherwell area.
