Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway, closing some lines.

Trains will be diverted, extending journey times by 60 minutes.

Great Western Railway:

Saturday:

Trains between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa will terminate at Stroud. An hourly bus service will operate between Stroud and Gloucester calling at Stonehouse. Rail connections are available between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa.

Trains between Weymouth / Westbury / Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa will not operate between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester.

Trains between (Salisbury/)Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street will operate between Gloucester and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Filton Abbey Wood will extend to / from Bristol Parkway to provide connections with replacement buses between Bristol Parkway, Yate, Cam & Dursley and Gloucester.

Bus journey time from Bristol Parkway to Gloucester approx 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Sunday:

No trains will run between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa. A replacement bus service will operate between Swindon and Gloucester.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester (/Cheltenham Spa) will not run.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street will operate between Gloucester and Worcester Shrub Hill/ Wocester Foregate Street.

Additional trains will operate (hourly) between Bristol Temple Meads, Filton Abbey Wood and Bristol Parkway for onward replacement bus service between Bristol Parkway, Yate, Cam & Dursley and Gloucester.
