Description
Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Parkway and Yate, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
From 20:05 on Saturday until the end of Sunday:
Trains between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway will be diverted, extending journey times by up to 60 minutes.
Sunday:
Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester.
For travel between Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads / south western England, you should use local bus services, at your own expense between Bristol Parkway and Patchway / Filton Abbey Wood.
Ticket acceptance:
You can use your tickets with Great Western Railway between Bristol Temple Meads and Patchway / Filton Abbey Wood.
If you have a CrossCountry Only Advance Ticket, you can travel on either Saturday 2 or Monday 4 November instead.

From 20:05 until the end of the day on Saturday:
Bristol - Gloucester:
Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester, calling at Filton Abbey Wood, Bristol Parkway, Yate and Cam & Dursley.
London - South Wales:
Some services will start / terminate at Bristol Parkway and run non-stop Bristol Parkway to Swindon, passing through Bath and Chppenham.
Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester, calling at Filton Abbey Wood, Yate and Cam & Dursley. These replacement buses will not call at Bristol Parkway.
Valid Great Western Railway tickets can be used on the following bus routes:
Y1 – Bristol city centre – Yate
Y2 – Bristol city centre – Yate
Y6 – Bristol bus station – Yate
19 – Bristol Parkway – Little Stoke Lane (Patchway)
70 – Bristol Temple Meads – Filton Avenue (Filton Abbey Wood)
73 – Bristol Temple Meads – Filton Avenue (Filton Abbey Wood) – Bristol Parkway
74 – Bristol city centre – Station Road (Filton Abbey Wood)
M4 – Bristol Parkway and Titan Rd Bus Stop (Patchway)
Customers with tickets for Sunday 3 November on the affected routes will be able to use them to travel on Saturday 2 or Monday 4 November.
