Description
Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing all lines via Pontyclun overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Great Western Railway:
Monday to Thursday:
The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) and will call at Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal.
The 21:48 and 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea services will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry – not calling) and will call at Bridgend and beyond later than normal.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington service will start from Swansea earlier than usual at 03:38. It will call at Neath, Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend earlier than usual, and will be diverted to run via Barry. It will depart Cardiff Central and beyond as normal.

Monday to Thursday:
After 22:20 each night, trains which usually run via Pontyclun will be diverted to run via Barry, with extended journey times. Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun.
