Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing all lines via Pontyclun.

Great Western Railway:

Trains to / from Swansea will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, extending journey times by up to 30 minutes. Trains will be retimed to run earlier or later than usual.

A separate shuttle train service will run between Swansea and Carmarthen.

Transport for Wales:

No trains will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun.

Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun, and most services will be diverted to run via Barry, extending journey times.
