Description
Engineering work is taking place between York and Newcastle, closing some lines.
CrossCountry:
Buses will replace trains between Leeds / York and Newcastle.
Grand Central:
Saturday
A reduced train service will operate between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange / Sunderland. Some trains will start / terminate at York instead of Sunderland.
Sunday
A reduced train service will operate between London Kings Cross and Sunderland. Some trains will start / terminate at York instead of Sunderland.
LNER:
A reduced service of one train per hour will run in each direction between London Kings Cross and Newcastle on a diversionary route between York and Newcastle. Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.
All other services will start / terminate at York and Newcastle.
Rail replacement buses will run between York and Newcastle.
Lumo:
No services will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle all weekend. A reduced and amended timetable will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.
Northern:
Trains between Saltburn / Middlesbrough and Darlington / Bishop Auckland will start / terminate at Eaglescliffe.
Rail replacement buses will run between Eaglescliffe and Darlington / Bishop Auckland.
In addition, services running via Durham and Chester-le-Street will be diverted via an alternative route and will not call at stations via Durham and Chester-le-Street.
Buses will be provided between Middlesbrough and Newcastle to serve these stations.

Buses replace trains between York and Newcastle.
