Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads / Swansea

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Didcot Parkway and Bath Spa, closing all lines via Chippenham overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result:

  • The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Swindon and Bristol Parkway. It will call additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (drop off only), then call at Bristol Parkway and beyond later than normal

  • The 23:32 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads will divert between Reading and Bath Spa (via Newbury – not calling). It will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham. For Didcot Parkway, you should travel by the 23:14 London Paddington to Oxford which will call at Didcot Parkway. A replacement bus will connect from this train at Didcot Parkway for Swindon and Chippenham. For Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham to Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads, you should instead travel by earlier train services
