Description
Engineering work is taking place in the London Paddington area, closing some lines.
Elizabeth line:
Before 07:40:
No trains will run between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway.
If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway:
London Underground
London Buses
If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.
From 07:40:
Abbey Wood to Maidenhead services will start / terminate at London Paddington low level.
Abbey Wood to Heathrow T4 services will be reduced to 2 trains per hour.
Services will still operate between Shenfield and Heathrow T5 and Abbey Wood and Reading.
This means a reduction in services on the West
Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley and West Drayton stations will be reduced to 2 trains per hour.
West Ealing and Heathrow T2 / 3 will be reduced to 4 trains per hour
Hayes & Harlington, Southall and Ealing Broadway will be reduced to 6 trains per hour.
The Reading service will now call at Iver.
Great Western Railway:
Before 07:20:
The 06:20 Reading to London Paddington will depart at 06:38 and will operate later than normal throughout.
The 06:38 London Paddington to Reading will start from Ealing Broadway. You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Underground for connections.
After 07:20:
Long distance trains to / from London Paddington will be amended to run up to 8 minutes earlier or later than usual.
Trains between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will be retimed to run a few minutes later than usual.
Heathrow Express:
No trains will run between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5 before 07:25.
From 07:25 until the end of the day, a reduced and amended service will run between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5.
