Description

Engineering work is taking place between Ely and Cambridge / Stansted Airport, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

CrossCountry:

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 December:

Buses will replace trains between Ely and Cambridge and between Cambridge and Stansted Airport.

Friday 29 December to Monday 1 January :

Buses will replace trains between Cambridge and Stansted Airport.

Great Northern / Thameslink:

On Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 December, buses will replace trains between Royston and Cambridge North. On these days, you can also use your tickets on Stagecoach services between Cambridge and Cambridge North.

From Friday 29 December to Monday 1 January, a limited replacement bus service will replace trains between Royston and Cambridge.

From Wednesday 27 December to Monday 1 January, an additional direct bus service will operate between Royston and Cambridge North to connect with rail services to / from Kings Lynn.

Trains between London and Royston will run to an amended timetable. If you are changing at Royston for train services to London, you will have to wait longer than usual for an available service. Please take this into consideration when planning your journey.

Greater Anglia:

Wednesday 27 December to Monday 1 January:

Buses will replace trains between Audley End and Cambridge North via Cambridge.

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 December:

As a result of signalling works at Cambridge, buses will replace trains between Cambridge and Cambridge North. Train services will run between Norwich and Cambridge North via Ely.

Additionally, the 06:01 Cambridge to Norwich to Cambridge and the 22:40 Norwich to Cambridge services will not run.
