Description

Engineering work to replace Agar Bridge will take place to ensure the long-term safety and functionality of the bridge. There will be no trains running between Harpenden and London St Pancras International from Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 December. If you are travelling on this route, buses are replacing trains.

Buses will also run between Harpenden, St Albans and Potters Bar where you can connect with Thameslink or Great Northern services to or from London stations.

If you are travelling between Luton and London, buses will run between Luton Airport Parkway and Hitchin where you can also connect with Thameslink or Great Northern services to or from London stations.

If you are travelling between Sheffield, Nottingham or Corby and London St Pancras, trains will start and terminate at Bedford.

Buses will run between Bedford and Milton Keynes Central to connect with London Northwestern Railway or Avanti West Coast services between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston.

Christmas services:

The last trains on Christmas Eve will be earlier than usual and there will be no service running on this route on Christmas Day or Boxing Day
