Description
Engineering work is taking place between Gatwick Airport and Horsham / Brighton, closing all lines.
Gatwick Express:
Gatwick Express services will run to an amended timetable, with extended journey times and will call additionally at Clapham Junction and East Croydon.
Southern:
No trains will run between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges / Brighton via Burgess Hill, or between Three Bridges and Horsham.
Trains between London Victoria and Brighton and between London Victoria and Portsmouth Harbour will run to an amended timetable, running non-stop between Clapham Junction and Horsham. These trains will not call at East Croydon. Trains to / from Brighton will also call additionally at Horsham, Littlehampton, Angmering, Worthing, Shoreham-by-Sea and Hove.
Replacement buses will run between:
Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges
Three Bridges and Brighton
Three Bridges and Horsham
Three Bridges / Haywards Heath and Cooksbridge / Plumpton / Lewes
Trains which usually run between London Victoria and London Bridge will only run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace. No Southern trains will call at stations between London Bridge and Norwood Junction via Sydenham.
You can use paper tickets with the following TfL services at no extra cost:
London Underground between London Bridge and Canada Water (Jubilee line)
London Overground between Canada Water and Crystal Palace (Windrush line)
Trains between London Bridge and Caterham / Tattenham Corner will run to an amended timetable and be diverted to run via Peckham Rye.
Trains that usually run between London Victoria and Reigate will be amended to run between Reigate and Redhill only. You can use alternative Southern or Thameslink trains to travel between Redhill and London.
Thameslink:
Buses will replace trains between Gatwick Airport and Brighton and between Gatwick Airport and Horsham.
