Great Western Railway between Reading and Gatwick Airport

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Guildford and Gomshall / Redhill, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

  • The 23:22 Gatwick Airport to Reading service will terminate at Redhill. A replacement bus will run from Redhill to Reigate, Dorking Main (a short distance from Dorking Deepdene) and Guildford. You can use a rail connection from Guildford towards Reading at no extra cost

  • The 23:33 Reading to Gatwick Airport service will terminate at Guildford. A replacement bus will run from Guildford to Gatwick Airport, calling at Dorking Main (a short distance from Dorking Deepdene), Reigate and dropping off only at Redhill and Gatwick Airport

Tuesday to Friday:

  • The 04:32 Reading to Gatwick Airport service will depart Guildford and beyond later than usual, and will terminate at Redhill. You can use alternative rail connections between Redhill and Gatwick Airport at no extra cost

  • The 05:59 Gatwick Airport to Reading service will start from Redhill at 06:15. Earlier rail connections can be used between Gatwick Airport and Redhill at no extra cost
