Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and East Croydon, closing various lines.

London Overground:

An amended London Overground service will run between Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon.

Southern / Gatwick Express:

All weekend, no trains will run between London Bridge and East Croydon / Crystal Palace via New Cross Gate / Sydenham.

Replacement buses will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.

Trains between London Bridge and Caterham will run to an amended timetable and will be diverted to run via Peckham Rye.

London Victoria to London Bridge trains will only run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace.

On Saturday and Sunday, trains will run to an amended and reduced timetable between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.

Trains between London Bridge and Uckfield will only run between East Croydon and Uckfield.

Trains that usually run between London Bridge and Epsom will not run.

A reduced number of trains will run between London Victoria and West Croydon.

Southern and Gatwick Express trains between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport / south coast destinations will also run to a slightly amended timetable due to changes to the times of Thameslink train services that are diverted between London Bridge and East Croydon.

You may use your ticket an no extra cost on the following:

  • London Underground services between London Bridge and Canada Water (Jubilee line)

  • London Overground between Canada Water and New Cross Gate

  • Paper rail tickets will be accepted on London Bus route 157 between Crystal Palace and West Croydon

  • Tickets will also be accepted on Southeastern Railway trains between London Victoria and Penge East

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.

Thameslink:

All weekend, Thameslink services to / from Three Bridges / Horsham / Brighton will be diverted between London Blackfriars and East Croydon, and will not call at London Bridge or Norwood Junction.

Thameslink services between Kentish Town and Rainham will run between Plumstead and Rainham only.

On Saturday only, trains between St Albans City and Sutton via Mitcham Junction will not run. Trains between Luton and Sutton via Wimbledon will run to an amended timetable.

On Sunday only, trains between Luton / St Albans City and Sutton via Mitcham Junction will run to an amended timetable.

Thameslink Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Southeastern trains between London Bridge and Plumstead, and on Southeastern replacement buses between Lewisham and Charlton.

You can use your paper rail ticket on Elizabeth Line trains between Farringdon and Abbey Wood, and on London Underground / Docklands Light Railway trains between London Bridge and Woolwich Arsenal.

On Saturday only, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on Southern trains to / from London Victoria. You can also use your paper rail ticket at no extra cost on London Buses between Streatham and Sutton.
