Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Reading, closing some lines throughout the day.

Elizabeth line:

The following alterations will apply:

  • A reduced service of two trains per hour will operate between London Paddington and Maidenhead (terminating at Reading) as Abbey Wood - Maidenhead services will operate between Abbey Wood and Paddington only

  • A reduced service will run between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Terminal 4, of only two trains per hour

  • A reduced service will run for Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley and West Drayton of only 2 trains per hour

  • A reduced service will run for Hayes & Harlington, Southall and Ealing Broadway of only 6 trains per hour

  • Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell stations will be closed

  • All services between Abbey Wood and Reading will call additionally at Iver

Great Western Railway:

An amended service will run between London Paddington and Reading. Local services will run between Reading and Didcot Parkway only for most of the day, Some long distance services will be amended to call at local stations between London Paddington and Reading.

Long distance services will be retimed to run earlier or later than usual to / from London Paddington.

Heathrow Express:

An amended and reduced service will operate, with fewer trains than usual throughout the day.
